naddcon GmbH is a private research, development and application center for 3D printing technology. The company was founded in 2021 as part of the HZG Group by Kerstin and Frank Carsten Herzog in Lichtenfels/Upper Franconia.
naddcon (New ADDitive CONcepts) is the central point of contact for anyone who wants to effectively use and further develop 3D printing as a pioneering technology. It supports companies and scientific institutions in the development of new products and innovative technical solutions, with the necessary infrastructure as well as distinctive technical expertise. The team’s application-oriented approach enables cross-industry, tailor-made product innovations that can be quickly integrated into customers’ existing production processes.
The machinery offers an extraordinary variety of innovative devices and printing processes. It includes numerous industrial 3D printers that can be used to process a wide range of materials. In addition to Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) for complex three-dimensional components made from various metallic materials, complex geometries and shapes can also be implemented in the polymer sector. From laboratory scale to small series: the experienced development engineers work together with customers to find individual solutions for complex projects.
The customer base consists of companies of all sizes and scientific institutions from various disciplines – from start-ups and SMEs to large corporations as well as universities and research institutions.
naddcon GmbH joined the research association in July 2024. With its expertise, the company would like to actively support the 3-D MID e.V. network and accompany various projects and research projects.
